UPDATE

Water pressure was fully restored to all affected residents and district staff is finished with their work in the intersection. There is a packing leak on one of the valves in the intersection that will be fixed at a later date by the district’s contractor.

District operators are working in the intersection of W. Coal Mine Ave. and S. Pierce St. trying to restore full pressure to the Columbine West neighborhood.

Crews are working in the east bound lane of W. Coal Mine Ave. Please avoid this intersection if at all possible. All lanes are closed east bound on W. Coal Mine Ave. near the intersection with the exception of the left turning lane.

Due to construction in the area, customers in the Columbine West area may be experiencing lower than normal pressure. The district is investigating options to improve the pressure during the construction. Updates will follow.
